Little Miss Libby is 17 and graduating high school in just a short time. When she told me that she was a huge pet lover, fan of shopping, crazy for pink type of girl, well, I immediately thought of myself

She’s thinking maybe she’ll grace the good ole town of College Station, Texas with her blue eyes and blond hair. I think with those cowboy boots of hers with the dress, she’ll fit in perfectly!

We made our way through the depths of the city which of course has it’s ups and downs. Random people asking her how old she was, telling her it was illegal to look as pretty as she did, etc, etc… If you’re ever short of free entertainment, just go hang out in the city, park yourself on a bench and have no worries, someone will approach you for something!

Libby, you did an amazing job and I wish you the best of luck!!

I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty excited to post this wedding.

Ashley & Anthony said their vows in a full Catholic ceremony at the end of March in front of friends, family and coworkers. It was absolutely beautiful. SHE was absolutely beautiful.

He’s the tough Italian, she’s the tiny dancer. Anthony could fool you into thinking he’s the shot caller, but when you see him look at Ashley, you know he’d do just about anything to make her smile. And when HE smiles at her, you see a whole other side to this good ole authentic Italian boy.

Daniella, the wedding coordinator of the day was SUCH a blessing. If you want someone on top of the game, check her out and give her a ring.

Get ready to meet THE most adorable baby boy in town. No, really. I don’t even have to sell you on him, just feast your eyes on the little pudgy tater tot below. He is the baby of one of the most beautiful girls I know. I’ve known Maddox’s mom since college and yes, she’s always been this beautiful. Sweet Maddox got her incredible eyelashes, check ‘em out!!

I can’t help but adore this baby boy, and I’m sure you will too.

This one below CRACKS me up! I think it’s definitely a studio worthy shot. I can just hear him saying something like:

“It’s up to our generation to fix this country that’s run amok. Get your act together and be civilized for God’s sake.”

Ashley and Anthony tied the knot a little over a week ago so I can finally share the drool worthy bridal pictures with you! I can’t give Ashley enough credit for keeping up and rocking this shoot. We had to reschedule several times due to weather, and so when we finally picked a date that we had to shoot on and couldn’t wait any later, I told her the weather better roll out the red carpet. Indeed it did.

Ashley, you were so fun to photograph and such a pleasant person to be around. You had such a great attitude for the whole time and even though you were exhausted, were so willing to try anything…thank you! The wedding will be up on the blog soon!

Danielle and Mike are a special couple to me. She is one of the most excited brides I have ever had~enthusiastic, bright eyed and most of all, she can’t wait to marry her best friend. I know that working with these two will be such a pleasant experience and the more time I spend with them, the more I’ll get attached. Mike was quiet during their initial consult, but he was awesome and had his full game on for the engagement shoot. Good beautiful morning, everyone! It was so hard to decide which images to show here to represent my work, but I only have so much time on my hands and I just had to narrow it down. I really didn’t want to leave Nevada. The breeze alone is worth the trip.

Valley of Fire Styled Shoot | Part I~Details | Las Vegas, Nevada

While in Las Vegas a few weeks ago for the annual WPPI convention, a fellow friend and I decided to take advantage of new scenery and participated in a styled shoot that Brushfire Photography of Arizona hosted for photographers to come together and shoot details, beautiful scenery and a beautiful couple of models out in the bush. When I say bush…I mean just that.

About an hour outside of LV, you exit to get to the Valley of Fire. It looks like regular old mountains for some time and finally, after what seems like a hundred hills, curves and tumbleweeds, you turn around the bend, and you see red.

{Engaged} Denitria & Eric | Houston, Texas Engagement Photographer

Eric & Denitria were referred to me by my friend and fantastic event coordinator, LaShica at ProvoCouture Events. Eric is from up north, so he wanted their engagement photos to capture a few landmarks in Houston including the skyline. His family has never been here, so he wanted them to see what they are in for when they come in for the couple’s fabulously themed “Old Hollywood Glamour” wedding. Also, since the couple IS the future Mr. & Mrs. Preston, they wanted a few pics with ‘their’ street sign! The day we shot was one of our great state’s bipolar days. One day it’s 70 and one day it’s 40. *Sigh* What I found funny was the fact that Eric, who is from freezing cold winters was the one shivering cold! Thanks for sticking it out with me guys. I look forward to more fun times this year!

{Engaged} Debra & Tim | Huntsville, Tx Engagement Photographer

Debra and Tim are graduates from SHSU. They wanted to incorporate this experience into their e~session, so we all drove up to Sam on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Debra rocked the dress and heels considering that it felt like 30 degrees outside, but they were up for anything.

Unfortunately, the building that they wanted to shoot in front of was under construction with scaffolding, and lets face it…saffolding isn’t Greek for pretty. Anyway! Below is a small peek of what we captured last weekend. As we were leaving for the day, I was discussing bridals with Deb and told her we needed to get together as soon as the dress was ready. Tim then proceeds to ask when his ‘groomals’ will be taken. Pipe down, Timmy boy! You’ll get some stud pics on the wedding day!

A Wedding Experience: My First A&M Wedding | College Station, Tx Wedding Photographer

Last year, my good friend as well as a brilliant photographer, Lacy Dagerath, asked me to second shoot a wedding with her. This was going to be an 800+ guest wedding. Big. HUGE. So of course, I was willing to rock this out with her. Nothing could prepare me for this experience~in a good way. You would think that it would be intimidating to be a photographer at a wedding this big, but as a second shooter, I had free reign to be creative and relax. This wedding was off the hook! Beautiful people, beautiful details, beautiful bride and groom. There was a LOT of work put into this event, as you will see below.

The part that I enjoyed was knowing that the whole town of this lovely couple was sharing their day. That, and they were both Aggie Alumni, so a good portion of Texas A&M was present Mind you, at this point in time I had not been to one A&M game, hadn’t been on campus, hadn’t really been to College Station. That being said, they all formed a circle and began this song…one of their fight song. They then put their arms around each other, lock their legs and sway back and forth while shouting and singing with pride. I’d never felt such a feeling of family, pride and togetherness. I had no idea what was happening. I thought it was just something Aggie’s did at weddings. Lacy (being an A&M graduate) had to explain the tradition. I had an absolute BLAST! These guys knew how to cut loose and have a par~ty.
